Nannue Tipitier
(Thailand)
Biography
The journey of sound has just begun for Nannue. He has started as guitarist for Degobah System in College and soon discovered Electronic Music in his Uni year. With kindness from his parents, they bought him Toshiba laptop and he almost did not graduate his Fine Art Printmaking BA because he spent too much time making music. He managed to get himself back to Bangkok, Thailand and lost his way but during that period, he sneaked out debut album in 2002 and also realized that Electronic music scene in Thailand is zero.
There were not many electronic producers around plus digital download and music community on web land were coming on. The future was shaking so he decided to join SAE (School of Audio Engineering) to teach Electronic Music Production since 2002. It turned out that giving self studied knowledges on Electronic Music to students delivered him something more meaningful and he also quietly crafted his sound with years of hard living n' earning in school of Audio.
In 2006 Goethe Institute in Germany had worldwide mission to discovered and connected Asian Producers with German legends Producers. Hans Nieswandt was sent by Goethe to find artists around South East Asian plate. (SAN) and he found Nannue Tipitier. It was meant to be for both of them. It has been 8 years since his time in England, finally, the new adventure took him to Germany. The origin of many classic sound pioneers and the most famous, “Kraftwerk” the band who invented new electronic music instruments and inspired many of today and tomorrow's producers, bands and artists.
In August 2007 Nannue went on CO/POP in Cologne to meet Martin Gretschmann a.k.a. Console, Acid Pauli and also very important member of The Notwist band. After a brief encounter, Martin came to Bangkok in November for music production for Goethe Institute. 2 Weeks intense production and experienced Bangkok to the core came through in the 2 compositions, “Dail” and, “Numal” captured the feeling of dis fragmented cross culture between Asia and Europe quite beautifully.
In 2008, another mission came upon Nannue again from Hans Nieswandt, Goethe Institute decided to make another night event to cerebrate after listening to all works from all participants. He flew off to Weilheim to prepare for big CD launch and also had almost 2 weeks with Console in his vintage music studio. Like learning from the best, Nannue elevated his sound and together produced couple more tracks with Console and performed in CO/POP again with great success.
Asian sound integrated well with Electronic music very much, so much possibilities within this endless limitation. Finally after many years now Nannue is ready to approach International arena both, live performance and collaboration with Visual artists and more. Bottom line, with total respect and truth to music and human being. Thank you for reading this. |
